After a successful screening of the multi-award winning movie, Dazzling Mirage, as part of 2015 Film Africa last November, the Sickle Cell Society (UK), did a write-up on the movie and the overall experience.

Written by the Regional Care Advisor of Sickle Cell Society (UK), Iyamide Thomas, the review provided a summary of the movie Dazzling Mirage, a background to the movie (from the Director’s perspective), Question and Answer (Q&A) session, audience reaction to the movie, and Sickle Cell Society (UK)’s plan for Dazzling Mirage.

Dazzling Mirage is a 2014 movie by veteran Nigerian filmmaker, Tunde Kelani of Mainframe Film and Television Productions, which features Kemi Lala Akindoju, Kunle Afolayan and Seun Akindele. Other prominent actors include Taiwo Ajai Lycett, Bimbo Manuel, Carol King, Bayo Bankole, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Princess Adetuwo among others. Ade Solanke wrote the screenplay of the movie, which is an adaptation of Yinka Egbokhare’s novel of the same title.
