The Lagos Black Heritage Festival 2013 opened yesterday in an explosion of colours and pageantry, music and masquerade parade, a foretaste of what to expect for a whole week at the Freedom Park, near City Hall, Lagos. Photo shows the Lagos State commissioner for tourism and inter-governmental relations, the Erelu of Lagos and the special guest, Prof Elisa Larkin Nascimento. Themed, African Colours of Brazil, Brazilian selected films will screen side by side with the best of Nigerian cinema, starting with Kunle Afolayan’s, Phoneswap on Thursday, 28th March, 2013.
